The Acura RSX, shown above still in camouflage, is based on the Performance concept that was introduced last year. It will be the first EV to be built on Honda’s new vehicle platform and will debut the proprietary, in-house-developed Asimo operating system that was announced during CES earlier this month.

Acura has officially announced the return of the RSX nameplate, marking a new era for the brand as it unveils its first electric vehicle ( EV) built on Honda ’s EV platform. Inspired by the Acura Performance EV Concept, the all-electric Acura RSX presents itself as a sleek, coupe-like silhouette with modern tech.

Acura showed a camouflaged but anatomically correct photo of its coming RSX electric vehicle, a crossover SUV that will begin production by year's end. The Acura RSX will arrive ahead of the Honda Saloon and SUV concepts shown at CES last week.
