The Boston Fleet’s two-game win streak came to an end on Sunday night when they fell to the Minnesota Frost, 5-2, at Xcel Energy Center.

Taylor Heise scored two goals to end Boston's two-game win streak, with former Northeastern star Katy Knoll scoring for the reigning PWHL champs.

Taylor Heise and Brooke McQuigge scored first-period goals 84 seconds apart and the Minnesota Frost bounced back from their second shutout loss of the season to snap a three-game losing streak with a 5-2 win over the Boston Fleet.

In Boston’s first game since Dec. 8, 2024 at home, the Fleet scored quickly to get off to a hot start and “weathered the storm” that Toronto brought in the second to hold onto the lead before adding two more in the third in the 4-1 win.
