The most powerful of Nvidia's newest Blackwell graphics cards is a " beast ." Review after review has brought up benchmarks showcasing that when it comes to gaming, the RTX 5090 blows its predecessors and other graphics cards away. However, it appears that for many consumers, the RTX 5090 is overkill.

Despite its power demand of 575W, a significant increase over the RTX 4090, Nvidia has managed to shrink the card's form factor. The dual-slot chassis incorporates an innovative cooling solution, maintaining temperatures below 86°C under load.

But Nvidia is showing that it's willing to be a bit more aggressive on price. On Jan. 6, the company unveiled its latest GeForce RTX 50 cards, and what took some analysts by surprise was that many of them will be priced lower than the previous RTX 40 series, despite offering significant performance upgrades.
