It's a bird! It's a plane! It's — oh, it's actually a new airline coming to Norfolk International Airport. New travel options are coming to Norfolk after JetBlue announced added flight destinations for travelers — and Norfolk International Airport made the cut.

The New York-based carrier announced on Wednesday a major network expansion for the upcoming season. JetBlue will add a whopping 16 routes, including five all-new pins to its route map, as part of the expansion. TRAVERSE CITY, MI – Beginning this summer, JetBlue will offer seasonal flights between Traverse City and Boston. The non-stop service will run to and from Traverse City’s Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, starting June 5 through Oct. 25, the airport announced.

JetBlue's new routes include new destinations in its network, such as Halifax, Canada, and San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
