WEBNov 8, 2009 · 5. Make sure you clean the brushes good after use. I have a brush cleaning jar with a coil on the bottom of it that gets brushes cleaner than just a jar of water. Michaels or other craft stores should have something like it. Also get some artist's brush soap. Great to get dried paint out of brushes.

And the .040" thickness gives a "curb height" of a little over six inches--a bit tall, but tolerable.

The blue windshield wiper solution will "age" the brick as there is alcohol in the windshield wiper solution and the Aged White Polly Scale paint will create the mortar lines.

WEBOct 28, 2009 · An airbrush won't help you with Testors enamels. They are designed to be brush painted. What you need to do first is spray bomb the buildings with a base coat of color. Paint doesn't bite well on smooth, fresh styrene. If you put a coat of primer of sorts on the plastic first, brush painting will go much easier.
