Magic Erasers are a mild abrasive and over time may do some damage. Cirtic based cleaners seem to work real well with some elbow grease. Simple Green and a soft scrub brush works well.

As we all know vinyl is some tough stuff, vinyl upholstery is not. There is no acid in it, in fact the bottle says it is an alkaline cleaner. I would soap it off, rinse, dry and apply 303 for protection, especially UV protection [as alluded to on the Spray 9 label]. Much of the vinyl upholstery out there has a very thin clear vinyl top coat.

But I am not on a mission , you won't read any reviews on mine regarding this product anywhere else. And try this product if you want, it didn't damage my vinyl and as I said maybe it will work for you. 60 bucks isn't crazy amount to give it a shot, if you are looking at this or replacing expensive upholstery on your boat.

We used it extensively in our rental properties (by the gallon) and have started using it on the boat to clean up grease/oil, blood and general goo on the deck. I havn't used it on the waxed surfaces yet, so I don't know how it will affect that.

Any degreaser works, I have been using the AWESOME cleaner from the dollar store, use the hand sprayer for any bad areas let it sit for a few min, and anything will come off. Mold, grease, rust, does not matter after a few min the boat will clean right up, dump a little in your soap bucket.
