It's a free webapp that DMs can use to create detailed, customisable settlement maps - from villages to cities. In addition to the map, it creates the buildings, people, and factions in the city. Donjon.sh helps you generate names, stock up the world, and even make dungeons for hack and slashing. Wonderdraft makes gorgeous world maps. Fantastic Mapper makes some of the most beautiful hex maps I've seen.

Curufea's Random Cave map generator has colourful maps with interesting features Donjon has a random cavern generator which will create an image file with numbered caverns (although I don't know what a peripheral egress is)
