Mar 14, 2024 · After a combined 250 hours into Doom Eternal on both PS5 with 100 and PC with 150, conquering every campaign, DLC, and Master Level on Ultra Nightmare on PC and Nightmare Extra Life modes on those exact levels on PS5, as well as just beating the Kaiser Campaign mod with all its secrets and escalations on Nightmare difficulty, I want to share my thoughts on this game.

Aug 27, 2022 · I have played PS5 games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Elden Ring and Death Stranding but I haven't noticed this happening on those. After looking around online I found this video on YouTube, where the uploader had the same thing on Doom 2016 and somebody else in the comments also mentioned that they had it too.

Sep 3, 2022 · Downloaded Doom 2016 on PS5, quickly realised there’s no audio files for voices. Unfamiliar with the game as never played it, so not sure what else is missing if anything! Was fully downloaded when I started playing as had been a day.

Jul 19, 2021 · I've played seriously on PC since release, but picked it up on sale for PS5 just to see how it looks on my OLED. The graphics are very similar between the 2 platforms. I play PS5 in 60 fps with ray tracing. I play PC at 1440p with ray tracing and DLSS at 90-120 fps. My PS5 actually almost looks better than my PC thanks to the OLED.

Here are the following issues that happen on PS5 but not PS4: Glitching effects happening at the beginning when Doomslayer is waking up. The splash screen for id Software being completely silent. Models and textures of certain enemies bugging out. General issues with spark effects.

Jun 29, 2021 · I know it does on PS5, but Eternal isn't on the list of Dualsense supported titles on the PCGamingWiki. I tried launching the game myself with the controller plugged in (PS5 controller support enabled in Steam Big Picture), but I get Xbox icons on Eternal and no option to enable adaptive triggers in the options.

Aug 23, 2021 · If you’ve played every FPS on controller and you played consoles exclusively anyway you won’t notice at all. It’s not much different from doom 2016. Don’t think about it about anything and you won’t even care. I can’t stand using a mouse for gaming tbh. Enjoy the game.
