Nov 6, 2023 · These simulations calculated the gravitational influences of the Sun and the giant planets—Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune—on the sednoids’ trajectories. To enhance the accuracy of their model, the researchers also took into account a range of initial conditions that reflect the current observational uncertainties in the sednoids’ orbits.
