Wegmans used to be truly leagues above other grocery stores. But slowly I feel the experience has dwindled. With COVID, and then the recent inflation, this has accelerated. It used to be I only needed to go to Wegmans (plus local butchers, farmers markets) and was perfectly content. But now there's just some stuff I just can't get at Wegmans.

Jan 25, 2023 · I'm new to Wegmans - recently moved into one of the suburban Town Center communities with Wegmans as the anchor. Coming from a big city where late-night supermarket hours aren't a thing, 6 am-midnight, 7 days a week, feels like a blessing. Prepared food is high quality but prices are generally outrageous.

The Wegmans in the city isn't representative of the Wegmans in the suburbs. It's nice, but it doesn't represent what makes Wegmans special. The main benefit is that they carry literally everything. It's like a luxury high quality grocery store, except they also have all the "normal" products that a place like Whole Foods doesn't carry.

May 17, 2021 · Man this is tough. Wegmans F/T is a coveted position but from my POV P/T is a good way to burn out. So my advice if you can only work a 4-5 hour shift let your TL know that. Otherwise leave because they will work you to the bone. DM …
