Jan 17, 2025 · Its ridiculous Microsoft is updating this stuff even with windows update turned off. I am happy the install failed microsoft shouldn't be restarting my system and installing updates without my express permission its my computer and I set the system to not update how much more indication its not welcome is required.

On Jan 15 2025 I received a 2025-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5050021) After the update I keep getting prompts from Windows Update for system restart: I have restarted several times and I am still getting the prompt.
