To my ear the EONs are more true than the Altos and better for guitar as the mids are more detailed but the PRX are much more articulate, clean and clear. You can grab one for $600. mojah.

May 5, 2022 · I've got a JBL Eon 515XT here. When I turn on the power switch, you can hear the normal clicks you hear during power-on, but then I get no lights, and no sound will be produced. I don't know much about this stuff, but this PA speaker will either be junked, or fixed by me, so this is zero risk to give it a shot.
