And the first data is in! 👀 NASA’s EZIE (Electrojet Zeeman Imaging Explorer) mission, launched on March 14, has released its first measurements. Here’s what they show: The plots at left show light signatures from oxygen being “split” by magnetic fields. They prove that EZIE is ready to do its main job: mapping that splitting effect to reveal the electric currents flowing through our sky when auroras glow overhead.
