New Public Art at the North 9th Roundabout A new metal fish sculpture, nicknamed “The One That Got Away,” was installed January 28 at the North 9th Street and Grand Avenue roundabout. Created by Fruita artist Jeff Bates, the piece now anchors the refreshed “Troutabout,” featuring a stone base aligned to the four cardinal directions.
